Tuesday I left work at 4:30 and then went to Crazy Hour with Crystal, Jess, Zach and a couple other random people. Pants was working so we got to see her. I had yummy nachos. After that Zach and I went to my house where I finished packing and watch Penn & Teller's Bullshit.
Wednesday we were up pretty early and out of the cities by 6am. We were on the water in the BWCA by 2pm and made good progress the first night. Every one did well and the canoes we rented were awesome (and light at 42 pounds).
Thursday it was very cold. It was the worst weather I have ever had up there. I looked it up and it only got to 53 degrees that day plus it was super windy and rainy. We got into camp by 3 and I slept the afternoon away because I couldn't warm up. The camp fire wasn't very good either since all the wood was wet.
Friday we had a very late start. It is hard to leave your sleeping bag to face the cold and wet. We talked about pushing on for our planned route but it isn't really a route you want to take in the cold rain so we decided to move closer to the outfitter. We got to the lake where we had to make a decision and saw this. We decided to go into the outfitter and camp there for the night. It was nice to be able to warm up and get firewood to have a proper fire.
Saturday we took our showers, packed up and then went to Duluth. I got a couple items for my hike with Zach next week including some super on sale thermals. We had lunch at Fitgers, bought some beer, looked at camping stores and we were back in the cities by 5pm. I surprised Zach when he came in towatch MacGyvercat sit.
Sunday Zach and I watched TV, then went shopping at Trader Joe's and United Noodle. Then we met up with Jens and went to the Minnehaha Dog Park (a magical place). After that we made our own pizza (I need a pizza pan, the crust was soggy). Afterwards we hung out with my siblings until 10:30 or so.
Today I got up early before I remembered I had a doctor's appointment at 9:30. I watched a couple episodes of MacGyver with Zach. The doctor was fine, I am getting a copper IUD with my next period and it sounds pretty easy. Then I came to work, caught up on my work email (only 92 "real" emails. Slackers!) and now am feeling good. This is weird week since I am going on vacation again next Saturday and I have a dentist appointment tomorrow. It feels like a slack week.

1. Who was your FIRST prom date?
I never went to prom
2. Do you still think about your FIRST love?
Not really
3. What was your FIRST alcoholic drink?
Champagne at a wedding. My parents would let us toast with it.

Tomorrow at this time I should be on my way to the BWCA to go camping. We should be on the water by 1 pm. I am so very excited.
I just have little things left to do.
I just have little things left to do.
- Finish up work bugs
- Get glow sticks
- Find Hat
- Finish pancake mixes
- Hand Sanitizer
- Pack a knife
- Pack a book
- Pack toothpaste
- Wash the last couple dishes
- Clean cat box
- Hug boyfriend a lot
- Pack up my parents van
- Wake up at 4:45 am tomorrow. <==== This will be really hard.
So, I have to sell some stock and I am thinking about taking the proceeds and buying a canister vacuum* with it that will hopefully make me stop posting about vacuums.
*Not a roomba since it doesn't want to go from my hardwood floors to my thick rugs. I am glad I bought a used one to try it out first. Plus my mom really likes it.

I was just commenting in
damncutekitty's lj and all of a sudden it hit me that I am closer to 33 than 32 and when did I get to be this age? I really don't feel that much older than 25, despite my funny comments about how I am getting old.
Wow, at some point I am going to have to decide what I want to do in life, won't I?
