So, it was a good weekend even if I slept a lot and spent a lot of time chilling. I didn't make it to a lot of events that were planned but I am trying to be ok with that. I need to remember that just because I can be social it doesn't mean that I am an extrovert.

Otherwise I got most of the stuff done on my to do list. The food is all packed up, the communal equipment is all taken care of and I got my camping stuff packed. I just have to get my after camping stuff ready which shouldn't take long at all.

Friday I went to Zach's and watched Annie Hall and The Prestige. Saturday I packed up camping supplies and made sure the tents worked. It was also Eric's 25th birthday, which was fun. Sunday I went to brunch and REI (where I got some nice hiking pants and an old school naglene bottle). Then Zach and I watched a lot of Penn & Teller: Bullshit!. I then fell asleep, like usual.

This is a two day week for me. I just need to figure out this one pretty large bug and get all my tasks done and then I am free! Woo! I have a feeling that I will be able to leave work on time tomorrow so I am going to try to go to Bar Abilene for their Crazy Hour and buy my boyfriend a nice tequila. Woo!

Then he helped me get it all ready since it is nicer if you repackage it into lighter less bulky packaging. I then packed the food/equipment pack as best as I could and really want to try putting up the tent.

damncutekitty, I don't think we will use your tent.
1. I spent most of the weekend checking to see if the test databases were restored. I really only had 1.5 hours of testing to do and I really wanted it done. Alas, they came up about 5:30 last night and I was too sleepy to care. However, I got in early this morning and got it all fixed up. Woo!

2. CONvergence was a lot of fun. The Snack Food Glory Hole went well and we learned a lot to make it better next year. I looked cute on Saturday night, I got to nerd out so much and I knew so many people. I didn't even drink that much on Saturday night and still was able to have a ton of fun. I already bought my ticket for next year. :D

3.
Friday night was pretty low key.

Saturday morning my mom and I went shopping for fabric for my costume and couldn't find anything that would work (though I did find some fabric to make some pillow cases for Zach). I am just going to wear nerdy t-shirts next weekend and stop worrying about it. After that I got my hair done, which is now blonder and has more layers. Finally Zach and I went out for Pho and then watched MacGyver until the late hour of 10pm.

Sunday I woke up with a little migraine but it really responded to medication. Then I went berry picking, shopping at Menards with my mom, and shopping at Ikea with Anne.

It was a good weekend. I caught up on sleep, I was able to do things and I got a little sunburnt. Now I just have to be super on task all week so I can go to CONvergence without having to worry about work at all.

I went to my parents house to sew something. My mom has everything you need to do sewing and that is a big reason why I don't own my own sewing machine. However, I opened the door to the sewing room and lasted about 5 minutes before the clutter got to me. It wouldn't have been so bad if it had been all sewing stuff but this was construction stuff and random other stuff that I don't know why she has.

I would just buy my own one but I already feel like I have too much stuff in my condo as it is!

Oh well, I am off to get my hair done, which fills me with excitement. :)

1. I have had this weird pain in my side since Sunday. It is annoying because it wakes me up in the middle of the night. However, it seems less annoying today.

2. Last night was awesome. I watched Dexter with the AC on until Zach came over, then we watch Spongebob while we ate (mmm... salmon) and Double Team (it was terrible).

3. The Snack Food Glory Hole was finished on Monday. I am excited for my first CONvergence next week even if I am unsure I'll have costumes. I have decided that I am just not going to worry about it.

4. I really need a hair trim. My hair is super long now and gets caught when I sit back.

5. I really like glow sticks.

6. I can't believe it is almost July. That month is going to be so busy!

7. I was looking at the map of the hike that Zach and I are going to do and it is only about 10 miles each way. I am feeling much better about this.

8. I still need to get back into going to the gym. I haven't been in a few weeks (sister in town, headaches, laziness) and I do miss it.

9. I still miss my sister but I am sort of glad she isn't here anymore. It was a busy schedule with her here!

10. I really need a pedicure. My poor toes are neglected!
